OSU Webcams – OSU Cascades - Innovation District
The Innovation District is a key aspect of the strategies for the development of the OSU-Cascades campus and for OSU’s effort to create a “Distributed Innovation Network”. The Innovation District will be an incubator for early stage companies and will provide opportunities for internships (beneficial to students and companies), development of shared research equipment and facilities (beneficial to faculty and companies), create a pipeline of companies to populate larger economic development spaces in Central Oregon and build economic prosperity (a core part of OSU’s strategic plan) and help OSU-Cascades recruit faculty talent (with the opportunity to work closely with companies and access the shared resources).
